Middle of the week and campers are well into the routine of camp. Many activities have the campers broken out into groups with others they don’t know, which is a great way to make new friends.
This morning for breakfast the campers had a pancake feast. While this guy (below) outside the back kitchen door feasted on wild lupines.
Cleaning up the camp after breakfast seems to be an automatic thing. The camp caretaker told our director that we have been a pleasure to have as a group and are very responsible.
Campers have opened up to the camp volunteers, thanking them for the Bible classes and letting them know how much of an impact they have on them. Many campers have asked when they can sign up for next year and if they can be camp counselors when they’re old enough.
After morning Bible class everyone got to make a call home. Campers were given their phones back and dispersed, given 15 minutes to make their calls.
The girls all used their time up. Below is a photo of some of the guys during call home time...not calling home.
