Wednesday - Winter Park

Campers got a real treat and went to Winter Park this afternoon.


Winter Park is an off season ski resort with fun summertime activities. One of the big attractions are alpine slides. The ski lift takes the sliders to the top with their own little sled and from there, there is a choice of either a slow or fast lane to the bottom.




It was pretty warm in Colorado today compared to the other days we’ve been here. Here is a group of campers convincing Pastor Perkins that he should buy them ice cream. He did.


A second ski lift transported riders to the top of the mountain for spectacular views. Some of them got off the lift and stayed on the top for a while, and others decided to hike down the mountain.
